View NotesThe Jed Luckless Band is back for JLB March Madness 2024! And even after an almost eight month hiatus, they came to play! The band kicks things off with one from Jed's new album, the west-coast rocker "Latest Craze," followed by the more somber "Listen The The Angels." The Phish song "Sand" makes a strong showing in the third slot with a particularly good stand alone jam. Mark Gutenplan takes the lead next with his song "Remember This Night," which the band opens up into a nice improv jam before a segue into another cut off Jed's new album "Feel," which is a debut for the JLB. A nice slower version of "USed To Feel Good" and a bustout of the classic "All At Once" round out the first set. Second set opens with Kenny Kaufman at the mic, leading the band down the "Saw Mill River." They break out from the Saw Mill jam in the middle for "Moved To The Country," and then follow that up with a newer song that's gaining popularity "La Puerta." A beautiful rendition of "The Birds Don't Know" takes flight next, followed by the title track from Jed's new album "Multiply," which produces one more nice long jam before a solid transition into "Ozone Blues," which dovetails nicely into a "Saw Mill River" reprise to close out the set. The encore features Pete Martine's 'favorite song' "Geneva Sue." It's great to have the JLB back and this is a super fun, high energetic show with a great setlist, several tunes off Jed's new CD, a few sweet jams, and something for the Phans too. Enjoy!
