View NotesIt's the 15th Annual Jed Luckless Holiday Revue live in Secondlife at Sonas, hosted by his good friends Gonja Girl and Tricks! Always a fun time for a good cause, and the charity this year is the Maine Island Trail Association, which is near and dear to Jed's heart and Trick's too since he is a Mainer! Things start off on a fun note with a risk-averse version of Rudolph called "Gustave The Green-Nosed Reingoat," which is a nod to the Christmas comedy play Jed had just finished acting in. The Rnakin bass favorite "Silver And Gold" lands next, followed by a newcomer this year, the bouncy "Up On The Housetop," complete with snow falling in the venue! Another newbie follows, an obscure Mel Blanc Speedy Gonzalez christmas tune called "The Hat I Got For Christmas." It's back to some of Jed's classics next with the Snoppy themed "Christmas Bells," which features a nice jam into "Silent Night." The mellow Weepies song "All That I Want" and the alwasy crazy "Grandma Got Runover By A Reindeer" close out the first set. After a brief setbreak piece highlighting the work of MITA, Jed opens the second frame with the ever-popular "Do They Know It's Christmas" which of course lends itself nicely to a rockin jam before transitioning to another debut this year, "It Came Upon A Midnight Clear." Another blast of winter fills the venue next for "Let It Snow." Things get serious with a tribute and moment of silence for recently departed Lexie Luan, followed by Jed's "Christmas Night" which he wrote when he lost his father. But then it's back to the fun with yet another new one this year, "O Christmas Tree" followed by the beloved "Grinch." Jed's original intrumental "Equinox" slips in next before one more debut closes out the set, from the Queen of Christmas Mariah Carey its "All I Want For Christmas." The encore features Jed's popular pairing of "The First Noel" and "Auld Lang Syne." This is of course a fantastic and special show, as Jed's Holiday Revues always are. This one happens to feature a bvey of new tunes never played before, along with a couple nice jams, and plenty of classics - and all for a great cause. Give this one a spin while wrapping those last minute gifts and enjoy!
