View NotesThe Jed Luckless 2023 Europe Tour of European based venues in Secondlife continues with a stop at Taniz in France! The Taniz GIFT stage field was packed with fans as Jed delivered a top notch rock and roll show! The show opens appropriately with "Doigter" and it's French influence, but things take off quickly with "Each And Every Day" opening up into a great jam that segues into the emotional "Feel." The fun storyteller "Ten Ounces" is up next, followed by another powerhouse jam combination of Jed's "The Need For Love" and Robert Palmer's "Sneakin Sally Through The Alley," to end the six song first set. Second set kicks off with the GuRGLe era war epic "Friendly Burial," complete with gunfire and explosion effects. It extends into a long jam featuring some nice electric piano and echoing guitar lines before it segues into Jed's sprawling composition "Second Hand Smile." The pandemic rocker "Send Me A Package" is up next, and it produces possibly the highlight of the evening, an intense, moody jam with spacey keys and blazing slide guitar. When the smoke clears the dark blueser "Red Light" emerges, a song from Jed's Tales of Halloween show. Things lighten up a bit next with a nice juicy version of Phish's "Blaze On" to end the set. Jed tacks on a Grateful Dead encore with "Truckin'." This is a strong show full of some great song choices and a couple of super hot jams. Definitely worth a listen! Enjoy!
