View NotesThe Jed Luckless 2023 Europe Tour returns to the lovely theatre at New Brighton Pier, but this time with special guest Lluis Indigo joining the fun! The place was packed and the energy was off the hook for the final outing of this unique rock star pairing. Lluis opens the show with a solo set, working his way through the groove oriented "Groovy," followed by the prog-rock inspired "Passage." His popular "WOWA" or 'words of wise ancestro' is up next, followed by "Pivots." He wraps up his solo set with "Grand Enigma," which he played with Jed previously. Jed joins Lluis on stage for the next three tunes as the pair starts off with the well known Beatles tune "Let It Be." Up next is a beautiful Spanish song called "Si Te Vas," which sounds great except for a slight tuning issue caused by the capo. The pair end their interlude the same was as the previous two shows, with Lluis' absolute shred-rocker and instrumental anthem "Hope Road." Lluis takes a break while Jed launches into his solo set, opening with "Growing Up In The 80's" from his Tales of Halloween show, opening it up into a nice extended jam that segues into a bumpy version of his nostalgic "Jackie." The reggae cautionary tale "Hurtful Things" is up next, followed by the psalm-inspired "Twelve," with a fantastic end section. Jed caps off his set with the sea-ditty "Geneva Sue." Lluis jumps back up on stage for the final encore which features the Allman Brother's tune "Ramblin Man," nicely jammed out into an improv jam that starts off rocking, then dissolves into a gorgeous ambience before transitioning into Jed's weed-storical "Brother Love" to close out the show. This is an absolutely special show featuring two of the greatest guitarists in the metaverse playing solo and together. One of the attendees described it as "the best music I ever heard in Second Life." Based on that alone, you can bet this one is worth a spin! Enjoy!
