View NotesThe Jed Luckless 2023 Europe Tour rolls into Portugal with a very special show at PsyLounge in Secondlife! This was the first of three shows on the tour with special guest gutiarist Lluis Indigo joining Jed! The place was packed with Jed Heads and Lluisees and Moondance Parx was on the light rig. These two SL rock stars have never shared the stage before, so this is one that will go down in history! Lluis takes the stage first for a solo set that features a mix of his trademark instrumental guitar compositions. He opens with a piece called "Samba" followed by an "Acoustic Rock" number. His third song is called "WOWA" which is short for "Words of Wise Ancestro," a great title we definitely want to know more about. A song called "Pivots" is up next, followed by a "Slow Blues Groove" on which Jed cannot resist jumping on stage with a harmonica. He grabs his guitar and joins Lluis for a three song encore featuring the Joe Cocker tune "Feelin' Alright," followed by Lluis' "Grand Enigma" and the always amazing set closer "Hope Road" which whipped the crowd into a an absolute fervor. Lluis hops off stage so Jed can deliver his solo set, which kicks off energetically with his pop rocker "Still In Luv With U." After a few thanks you's Jed launches into the poignant "Begging For Mercy" before ramping things up again with "2000 Pikes" and a nice extended jam into the fan (and Moonie) favorite "Throw It Down The Hill." Jed closes his solo set with the Grateful Dead's "Going Down The Road Feeling Bad." Lluis jupms back up on stage while Jed takes a moment to switch up the streams, and then the two guitar heroes launch into "Victim Of The Rhythm," and a nice improv jam that slides seamlessly into David Bowie's "Space Oddity" which sees Lluis singing along with the Jed. The end jam on this absolutely blasts off into outer space and is the perfect capper to this amazing concert event. This is a one of a kind show, the likes of which you won't see again (unless you attend one of the other two Lluis shows on the tour!). It has two great solo sets from these performers, but the real fun is when they share the stage. Hearing Jed on Lluis' songs and vice versa is a magical experience and one well worth a listen. Enjoy!
