View NotesThe Jed Luckless 2023 Europe Tour kicks off with this show at Pantheon on June 1, 2023! The Europe Tour has become one of Jed's most anticipated tours, now on it's seventh year of touring European based venues in Second Life! As always 2023 features some familiar places, but also some new ones like Pantheon...it's the first time Jed's Europe Tour has stopped in Greece, and it was a beautiful greek amphitheater on a beautiful virtual evening. A great spot for the opening show on the tour, however unfortunatley Moondance and the light rig did not make it over to the show. Jed still manages to rock things on his own, opening with the relatively new original "Rolling Waves," paired nicely with "Time And Tide." Without a pause, Jed then launches into the VU cover "Rock And Roll," jamming it extendely into his GuRGLe era "Cash Me In." Next up is "Doesn't" with its soaring solo section getting a great treatment here, in addition to a long jam out of the song into another GuRGLe era song "Open Road." The fun and bouncy "Forgot To Forget You" closes the first frame. Second set opens with the progger "Multiply" which also spwans a nice jam that finds its way into an ambient segment that for some reason includes a "Flinstones" tease? It segues bumpily into a nice version of the emotional "Smile Forever," which hadn't been played since October 2022. The jam vehicle "Give It Back" makes an uncharacteristic middle set appearance, but still lives up to its jammy potential with one more long jam of the night that segues into "The Birds Don't Know." Jed treats the Europeans to some Phish next with a short version of "Tube," followed by his fun original "Old Town Hall" to close out the set. A cover of Tom Petty's "American Girl" tacks on an "American" themed encore. It's great to have Jed back on stage, and even without the amazing light show, this was a fantastic start for his 2023 Europe Tour, filled with awesome jams, a great setlist and a ton of energy. Enjoy!
