View NotesIt's the Jed Luckless 2023 Winter Tour closer at Gonja Land in SL! The energy was palpable as the crowd awaited the final show of Jed's tour, which is always a good one! This one delivers on that promise as Jed and Moonie bring the heat! The show opens with "Back Again" a cut off Jed's 2010 "All At Once" album, followed by the debut of a brand new song called "La Puerta" obvioulsy inspired by his recent trip to Mexico. It's a song with a story that's defintely one we want to hear again again. The fan favorite and Gonja Land regular "Brother Love" is up next, followed by the GuRGLe era tune "Old Man Miller" which opens up into the first long jam of the night, a 27 minute romp through soaring guitar lines and key changes that segues into the rare love song "Secret Language." A bouncy "Slipping Through My Hands" closes the first frame. Jed eases into second set with "Dragonne," a tune from his Halloween's Past concert, followed by a pair from his Luna suite, the social commentary "Incorporation" and "ARC" which is short for "astral relocation cruiser." He keeps it going into the other long jam of the night, a slow building melodic improv with a plinko style and several movements. When it settles, the elemental "When It Comes Around" comes around, and it's a beautiful rendition. Another weed tune is up next, the fun "Ten Ounces," followed by the always fun set closer "The Kid That Tried To Fly." A double encore features the Mighty Wind's Mitch & Mickey song "When You're Next To Me," with one of Jed's funnest closers, the calpyso-esque "By And Bye." This show puts a loud exclamation point on a solid Winter Tour. It features a new debut, several solid jams, a few standout originals and all around fantastic vibe. We're already looking forward to Jed's next tour! Enjoy!
