View NotesIt's show #2 on the Jed Luckless 2023 Winter Tour! This one took place on January 26, 2023 at Cafe Musique in Secondlife, and it was only the second time that Jed tour has visited this popular venue. Moondance joined the tour for this show on lights and the beach venue was hopping by sunset and ready to rock! SL superstar Lexie Luan was in attendance in the crowd, so Jed opens the evening with her song "It Isn't Fair," which was a great way to kick things off! He follows it with his 'western' epic, "Ride With The Devil," which as always is paired with its introductory partner "One And..." Jed ramps things up a bit next with his indie-style rocker "Always Alone," which he opens up into a twenty-one minute jam that is fast paced and high energy and gives way to the arabic instrumental "Valley Of The Saints." The reggae style cautionary tale "Hurtful Things" is up next, followed by the set closer, a fun romp through the Modern English song "I Melt With You," with a "Stepping Stone" tease in the middle. Second set starts out on a mellow note with "Time And Tide," though the middle solo section does erupt somewhat. The Luna Suite song "Ozone Blues" is in the second position, and it delivers the longest jam of night, a 22+ minute affair that features keys, drums and a couple key changes. It segues nicely into the somber "Cold Dark Winter," which is followed here by "The Birds Don't Know," which somehow seems like a perfect pairing. One of Jed's favorite Led Zeppelin covers is up next, "Over The Hills And Far Away," and he pushes the rocking envelope on the solo portion. The set closer is the bouncy "Where The Mountains Meet The Sea," and Jed tacks on another David Crosby encore this show with "Teach Your Children. This is a high energy show with some great jams, some classic Jed tunes and some choice covers. Enjoy!
