View NotesThe Jed Luckless 2019 World Tour featured stops at Secondlife venues all across the world, and this one was in Brazil, at Vibe Live Music on May 9, 2019. It was a wild scene at the venue, with a Portugeuse opening act and slew of people who came from near and far to the show. As with most of the tour, Jed focuses on his original rock music, opening the concert with "Back Again" from his 2010 "All At Once" album. An extended "Moved To The Country" features one of the more interesting jams of the evening, an airy affair that dances its way towards "Sunlight." The electric circuits couldn't seem to handle the full Moondance Parx light show, but the show goes on with "The Story Of Shirtless Joe" followed by a nice rendition of Jed's instrumental film soundtrack piece "Outside Looking In." The duo struggle to get the electrics reigned in as Jed delivers a tongue in cheek version of the Clash's "Should I Stay Or Should I Go." Jed and Moonie dial things in perfectly during setbreak and return to the stage to open second set with an absolutely beautiful version of "Time and Tide." The light show was perfect on this and you can feel Jed riffing on the ambience. It inspires the longest jam of the night, a melodic improv featuring some nice organ work and a crunchy guitar solo from Jed. It drops directly into "Catfish Friend" which features a nice jam section of its own. One from Jed's past bubbles up next, a song of love lost called "Jackie," which he quickly wipes away with a powerful cut called "Space Walk" which is from the first Sight & Sound experience "Atmospheres." A bouncy "By and Bye' ending is the ideal capper to a wild Brazilian show, and the somewhat rushed Zeppelin encore isn't really needed. Jammin Jed's 2019 World Tour was really cooking at this point, with this being the third show in a three-show run. There might be some lag here and there, but Jed manages to open up the energy valve and deliver an electric show full of original songs and jams. "Enjoy the sin!"
