View NotesThe Jed Luckless 2019 World Tour makes it's first stop ever in Mexico on it's mission to bring high-energy original rock music to venues all around the world in Secondlife. This time it was a great little place called "Cantina la Clinica" on May 11, 2019 and it was lit up with travelin Jed Heads, Mexican locals and amazing light show from Moondance Parx. It's a short but good show, opening with Jed's "cowboy" song "Ride With The Devil" paired with it's trusty steed "One And." Jed jumps from horses to sports cars as he takes his "Maserati" out for a quick spin, before delivering a 'historic' cover tune from moe. called "Puebla" and the only improv jam of the short evening. But it's a doozy with some great melodic riffs and some wicked soloing. The jam segues into Jed's original "The 86," which sounds kind of historical but is actullay about an outboard motor boat. One of the highlights of the evening is a dedication to Gregg Allman on the two year anniversary of his death, his classic travelin tune "Ramblin Man," which Jed delivers with some nice slide guitar and a powerful solo section with dueling riffs. "Queen Lucille" seems like the perfect closer, as Jed follows the river on down to the end of the show. One set Jed shows are not quite as satisfying, never really getting the lift off provided by the preferred two sets with setbreak format. But this is a solid set that has a great dynamic on its own, with topical tunes, great guitar work and a high-energy vibe you can only find in Me-hee-co! Enjoy!
