View NotesWelcome to the Jed Luckless 2019 World Tour! This show was the opener on Jammin Jed's 2019 tour of venues in Secondlife all around the world. The tour kicked off in Jed's home country the U.S.A. on April 25, 2019, setting the tone for what is sure to be a killer tour! Jed opens the show with "Brother Love," a song that's perfect for the venue, Zeddz Joint, a Secondlife club adorned with pot leaves and weed paraphernalia. "Nothing's Ever Free" keeps the energy up in the second slot, with a slow-down coming in the third position with the bouncy love song "I Know There's Something." The GuRGLe-era epic "Old Man Miller" is up next, and it's a powerful version that spawns the highlight jam of the first set. It's a progressive bass driven jam that segues oddly into "Throw It Down The Hill," a weird, fun but dark tune that's a fan favorite and a rarity not played in over a year. Another GuRGLe tune pops up next, the bluesy "Black Molly," followed by the set closer "Each And Every Day." It must've been a good setbreak, because Jed comes back and opens the second set with a twenty-three minute "Latest Craze" that includes a rocking solo portion, then spans two distinct improv jams, the first a hypnotic, piano driven piece, and the second a more melodic and upbeat affair featuring soaring guitar riffs. It fades into "The Need For Love" followed by the folky "Uprooted." The selection of originals continues with the bouncy "On Hold" and the emotional "You Touched Me," followed by the re-debut of "Occular Eclipse," an instrumental piece featured in the Sight & Sound experience "Atmospheres." It's a rockin number, and makes for a solid set closer. But it's not quite over, as there's a long two-song encore, featuring one more original, the Phish tour-inspired "Ass Gas or Gas," paired with the only cover song of the night, Tom Petty's "American Girl," in honor of opening the tour in the USA! This is a great show full of original rock music from Jed Luckless and an awesome opener for his 2019 World Tour! Enjoy!
