Matrix by Hunter Seamons using Final Cut Pro (FLAC > AIFF > Final Cut > Soundtrack Pro > AIFF CD tracking via Audacity > FLAC16 via xACT w/meta-tagging)
Taper Notes:
View NotesNotes: There were several sections of dead air in the SBD between songs that were trimmed out to match the AUD cuts. Clicks removed in Space. A few other audio anomalies in the sources were reduced slightly. The low end is a little stronger in this recording than usual for an '80s recording, which seems to be a good thing. Da Weez's cassette brought some nice extra bass power that was not EQ'd or tampered with. Phil's a little hotter out of the gate for the first songs, but not overwhelming or distorted. The Morning Dew is one of Eric F. Wybenga's top 20. Chronologically, it's the best Dew since 5/8/77. Some say this show has the best Loser ever, including me.

View NotesI have recently come into possession of some master analog cassettes recorded by a friend of mine, often referred to as "Da Weez". He was a weasel about taping shows and would almost always get a great spot up front to make some awesome recordings. Most of these recordings have not been touched in years so get ready, here's the 1st of many recordings from "Da Weasels Vault" !!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- R.I.P. Sandy - aka "Bigfoot" He was a friend of mine who had nothing to do with this recording, but we sure do miss him! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Taper Notes:
View NotesThe master analog cassette tapes of this show have pitch issues, and this fileset was derived from a A>D transfer we did quite a while back. It was likely a Harman Kardon tape deck plugged into the standard soundcard of a PC, editing and tracking using Soundforge, burned to CD using Adapted EZ-CD Creator, and then EAC>FLAC8 by me. Unless we figure out how to fix the pitch issues on the master, this is probably all we will get.
