View NotesThis one is the opening show on Jammin Jed's "500 Tour" celebrating 500 jed shows performed since 2009. It's also a benefit show for Feed A Smile, although it took place at Helle's Angels and not the typical Secondlife venue for FAS benefits which is Lavender Fields.

The show starts off with a rare opener, the instrumental "Meredith," written for a friend's mother. As always it's a tough tune to do justice to especially in the opening slot of the first show on tour. But Jed picks things up quickly, moving right into the bouncy "Doesn't" which is the second longest cut of the night and features a strong solo portion. After a brief thank you to Linden Labs, Jed rolls out the lovely "I Know There's Something," followed by the opening track from his 2010 "All At Once" album, the Tennessee inspired "Back Again." The centerpiece of the show is the combo of "I Love You" and "Time And Tide" which includes the only real improv jam of the night. Jed closes the show on an up note with the bluegrassy "Where The Mountains Meet The Sea."

This is a short show featuring one set only, but it's chock full of Jed originals and includes at least on or two nice jams. You can tell it's the first show on the tour, as Jed is just warming up and dialing in his sound. But it's still a fun one to give a listen to! Enjoy!
