View NotesHere's one from Jed's 2018 Back Again Tour, which featured shows at venues across Secondlife in Spring of 2018. This concert is from April 4, 2018 at a venue called "The Blue Room," which was a short lived club on Bonaventure. This show was actually the grand opening of the room, which closed very soon thereafter, without a chance for a return Jed show. As with all the shows on this tour, Jed opens with his original song "Back Again," which even by the last show of the tour is still fun and still finds Jed screwing up the bridge! He locks into a nice rhythmic solo though. The vibe at the Blue Room was mellow, and Jed goes with it, playing a folksy original called "All The Same" before launching into "I Love You" and the longest jam of the night. It starts out as a synth driven improv, then moves into a transcendant guitar ambience jam that shifts peacefully into the instrumental "Meredith," which is one of Jed's "special favorite tunes to play" apparently. He closes out the set with a run of "blue tunes" as he puts it, the racy "Roll Over," the greedy "Latest Craze," and the evil "Black Molly." Second set starts out with the fun ditty "Quarter To Four" followed by a more traditional second set opener, "Vicitm Of The Rhythm," delivered in a nice tempo with a lengthy jam before a segue into the powerful "Feel." Jed's most religious song rises next, a recent and rare tune called "Twelve" that features a pretty cool end solo. "On Hold" provides an opportunity for one last jam before wrapping up the set with the Cailidgh Spires hit "The Song With Words And Stuff." All the encores on this tour featured hits from the 80's. This show included Modern English's "I Melt With You," and it's a great high energy ender. This is a rare one-off show at a venue the gang never returned to, so it hasn't gotten alot of play, but it features a bunch of great originals for the Jed Heads out there, with only two covers, and some tasty jams for the jammers out there. Don't skip "Latest Craze" it's got a hot jam section. Enjoy!
