View NotesI believe this is the first copy of this Matrix source on CD. I looked long and hard for a soundboard for this excellent show, and traded at least five times over two years for supposed Matrix recordings, only to find each time that set I was a Matrix and set II was an audience recording. D'oh! This is -- FINALLY! -- the real deal. Thanks to Rob Harrison for the DAT>CD transfer, and for abandoning his 8-track disco recordings to make time to supply these discs! Whoo-hoo! Let me get a whoop-whoop for my main dog Rob! (God help me.) Known issues Airto Moriera plays on Sugaree > West LA in set I, and I Know You Rider > One More Saturday Night on set II. He is sometimes audible and often not. Intermittent diginoise in Jack Straw has been replaced with a patch from the Matrix (oops I mean audience) source, from 4:24 to 5:18. Drums and space are seamless, and can be reassembled effortlessly when those DVD burners finally become popular and we're all listening to recordings by mind-travel. ---------- Seeded by Peter Braverman ([email protected]), April 2002.

Taper Notes:
View NotesAirto Moreira played throughout the show. Clicks removed in Sugaree, Walkin' Blues, The Music Never Stopped, China/Rider, and It's All Over Now, Baby Blue. There were some additional "scratchy clap" anomalies during Sugaree, and one instance during The Music Never Stopped, that were significantly reduced or muffled, but some tougher ones remain. 2-second SBD cut in West L.A. Fadeaway now patched. A minuscule cut in The Other One in the SBD source was doctored to not be noticeable. Jerry's guitar has low levels for the first couple minutes of The Other One.
