View NotesNotes: -- Recorded by Don Pearson and Dan Healy -- Apparently nobody was around to flip the tape in Set 1 -- There was horrible flutter on the master which took dozens of hours to repair -- I included a sample of the flutter to give you an idea of what I had to deal with -- Thanks to Rob Eaton, Dick Latvala, Ted Mattes and Scott Clugston for the patch sources -- Thanks to Joe B. View NotesComments: * Connection to left channel lost in a few spots; fixed as noted and undetectable except one spot: 2:43, 3:54, 4:54 and at 4:04; 4 sec of Left channel replace w/ right(mono for 4sec) #The bass levels were way too hot in parts of the show particularly during Blow Away. ^^Little was done if any to reduce the noise levels, particularly in Wavelab. The Treble and Bass settings transferred were faithfil to the recording and preserved. If you feel too much bass or treble, adjust your system accordingly. Dolby was not used in tape playback and no noise reduction was used in Wavelab. These Mics were extremely sensitive to the arena crowd and high spl's from say Phil and the drumz...An artifact that is part of the recordings personality, left alone. As a licensed structural engineer in PA I would have to say that afer hearing the Drumz, this arena is going to be stable from any interior attack that may arise in the near future ;) Enjoy! mtownshend
