Pitch and patch fix of shnid 7801
Lineage:
SBD:MC> DAT> C> DAT> CD> SHN
Taper Notes:
View Notes-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pitch and patch fix of shnid 7801 I adjusted this source -50 cents in Wavelab, using tones generated in CE 2000 as a tuning fork. I also patched in the bridge between Music Never Stopped and Might as Well in Cool Edit Pro using Phil Unger's audience recording (shnid 11880), downloaded from archive.org. All resulting SBEs and non-canonical headers were fixed using shntool. CAVEATS: I don't know what artifacts are inherent in using Wavelab for pitch correction - I just do the best I can with the means at my disposal. I do know there is audible tape wow in the original source, and that it and any other pre-existing flaws will be exaggerated by stretching it out as I have done. That said, this still sounds quite good to my ears, and definitely preferable to the "Jerry and the Chipmunks" quality of a speeded up source. Many thanks to Peter Braverman for the main source and to Phil Unger for his AUD patch source.
