Oade PCM source cited above used as a reference. - Fade in and out between CDs 2 and 3 patched with Oade source. - Day Job patched from 3:07 to end with Oade source. Given the huge difference in pitch between the two sets I strongly doubt if they're from the same source. I'm sure Set I has at least an extra C gen or two, also because it's not nearly as clear-sounding as set II. That said, it still sounds decent, and not nearly as warbly once the pitch was corrected. View NotesThe transition from drums > space patched with the raw Oade PCM source. Thanks to Charlie Miller for the C > D transfer and Scott Clugston for pitch correction. Bruce Barnum was a Deadhead and an avid taper from the early 1980’s until his death in 2017 at age 48. Over the years, he taped dozens of Dead shows throughout the Northeast, and other concerts, some of which have not been heard since then. After his death, about 60 of his master cassettes turned up in a used record store in Hudson, NY. Some were bought by random people nostalgic for the days of cassettes. The rest were purchased by a fellow Deadhead and archivist. Bruce’s daughter, Jessica, had more, and was kind enough to lend them to be digitized. Many of these recordings sound excellent for their age. They are Bruce's legacy. Thanks to Charlie Miller, Scott Clugstson and others who have helped bring them to light. Enjoy! --mhg :: 2020-10-24

View NotesNotes: The recording possibly matches ID-78800, however on this tape Let it Grow is complete. There was an annoying high-pitched whine coming from the P.A. during most of Slipknot and Estimated. Voxengo Span and REA-EQ were used to localize the noise and set a narrow band to isolate and reduce it, making these segments of the show more listenable. Patches from ID-114486; Birdsong 0:00 > 0:09, It's All Over Now 0:00 > 0:36, and Drums 1:02 > 1:11.

Taper Notes:
View NotesNotes: The recording possibly matches ID-78800, however on this tape Let it Grow is complete. There was an annoying high-pitched whine coming from the P.A. during most of Slipknot and Estimated. Voxengo Span and REA-EQ were used to localize the noise and set a narrow band to isolate and reduce it, making these segments of the show more listenable.
