View NotesIt's the annual Jed Luckless Holiday Revue for 2021! One of hte funnest events of the year! This one took place on December 21, 2021 at the Wild Mustang Saloon in Second Life, and it was a benefit for The Actors Fund to help struggling actors and entertainment industry workers. The show kicks off in rocking style with the Kinks "Father Christmas," followed by the popular Elvis tune "Blue Christmas." The beloved "Frosty The Snowman" comes to life next, with a rockin' jam that winds its way into "The Grinch." The Bing Crosby classic "White Christmas" falls next, with a Phishy "Jingle Bells" running away on its heels. The Pretenders poignant "2000 Miles" makes a rare appearance, and produces another nice jam the features a 'Dreidel Dreidel' tease and then spins into Jed's own classic holiday original "Merry Christmas Asshole" to close the set. After a brief setbreak focused on the work of the Actors Fund, Jed launches into another rarity, "Put One Foot In Front Of The Other," from The Tear Without A Santa Claus. "Silver Bells" is up next, followed by a nice long "Little Drummer Boy" paired with Jed's solemn original "Christmas Night." Another Jed holiday original pops up next with the Swedish inspired "Glogg Glogg." The set closer is "Here Comes Santa Claus," and Jed tacks on the awways fun "Twelve Days of Phishmas" parody to end the night on a high note. It's always a fun show and this one lives up to the tradition, with some rarer takes, lots of Jed originals and even a few hot jams! Merry Christmas and enjoy!
