View NotesJed Tour is back at Gonjaland for the second show in an epic three show run at this Secondlife venue, and he and Moondance deliver another awesome night of music and visuals on their 2021 Fall Tour! Set one opens with the classic Jed jammer "Victim Of The Rhythm," usually a second set opener, but he uses it here to kick the show off with a nice long jam. It segues into the serious "Side Door" before the mood lifts again with the calypso-esque "By And Bye," also in an atypical slot for the typical show closer. The "Lightship" appears next, with its powerful solo section, followed by the title track from Jed's 2010 album "All At Once." The newer indie-rocker "Always Alone" makes an appearance before Jed ends the set with the only cover song of the night, the Grateful Dead's "Deal." Set two kicks off with the bouncy rocker "Each And Every Day," which spawns a nice 18+ minute jam featuring psychedelic keys and uplifting guitar lines. It winds it's way into the melancholy "Own." Jed's heartfelt pledge of "I Love You," is up next, and it also develops into a nice jam that escalates with ripping riffs before making a somewhat clunky transition into "Slowly Fades" from Jed's 90's era. He then treats us to a classic GuRGLe tune, the pastoral "Open Road," before closing the set with the energetic and participatory "Forgot To Forget You." Does anyone know how to do the claps?? A brief "cool down" encore features "Barter Creek." This is fun show, with a bit of the "middle child" syndrome being the second of three shows at the venue, but it delivers a few nice jams and couple good versions of classic Jed tunes and a rocking Dead cover. Enjoy!
