View NotesHere's a very special Jed Luckless show from his 2021 Fall Tour! This one took place on a snowy day in December at the virtual Hotel Chelsea in Secondlife. A special stage was set up on the Hotel roof and Jed played this one literally "hanging out over NYC!" Jed has previously included Beatles songs in his rooftop shows at the Chelsea, but this time he goes one step further with a FULL show of Beatles covers, in honor of the amazing documentary "Get Back." Moonie joins him for the show, and it's obvious they both put in alot of work to bring this one to the fans! The first set opens with the documentary's title track "Get Back" and it's a great start. The energy continues lifting with "I've Got A Feeling," followed by a nice breather with "Norwegian Wood." By this point the audience had a feeling something was goin on. When Jed launched into "Oh Darling" next, it was pretty evident this was going to be a Beatles set. Jed takes a moment to confirm that and encourage people to watch the documentary before continuing the set with one of the show's highlights, "I Am The Walrus," which jed extends into a cool improv jam before a segue into the early Beatles song "Do You Wanna Know A Secret." It's quite an interesting pairing! The set wraps up with "Lady Madonna." After a brief break, Jed returns to the stage, and the audience wonders what's next. He starts up with a trippy ambient jam for a few minutes, and when the first notes of "Strawberry Field" hit, the crowd goes wild! More Beatles! This is another show highlight as he extends the song into another nice jam before resting on "Rocky Racoon." An ambitious version of the psychedlic "Tomorrow Never Knows" comes next, and it does not disappoint, relaxing minds and taking everyone downstream befor nicely transitioning into "Michelle." There's still plenty more music to come as Jed launches into the fun "Ob la Di Ob La Da," and then gets serious with "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," featuring some searing guitar work. He closes the set with an energetic "Back In The U.S.S.R" and tacks on a two song encore featuring "Revolution" and "Let It Be," the perfect ending to an amazing Beatles tour de force. This is a one of a kind show at one of Jed's favorite venues to play, with an amazing crowd on hand to witness two full sets of Beatles covers, performed incredibly and accompanied by an incredible light show from Moondance Parx. Whether you're a Beatles fan or not this is a must listen show! Enjoy!
