View NotesThe Jed Luckless 2021 Fall Tour rolls on to a three-night run at Gonjaland in Secondlife! This is the first show of the run, and a great start to an amazing series. Jed opens things up appropriately with "Brother Love" which could be a Gonjaland theme song. He launches into "Ozone Blues" next and blasts off into the first extended jam of the night that segues into the beat-poem inspired "Catfish Friend." An early cover tune pop ups next with a rocking version of Bob Dylan's "All Along The Watchtower," which also spawns a killer first jam. Jed slows things down a bit with his emotional composition "Second Hand Smile," but ratchets the energy back up with a set closing "Used To Feel Good." Second set opens with "Give It Back" in it's typical position with expected extended jam. The jam starts of with a groove oriented ascending rhtyhm, then shifts into an eerie synth driven movement that builds with a backbeat and unexpected key change before sliding effortlessly into the instrumental whistler "The Hairdresser." It's followed by the historic epic "2000 Pikes" which also opens up into a super long, bouncy, fast paced jam featuring some wicked guitar work from Jed. It shifts suddenly into the intensely emotional "Feel," which is followed by another classic rock cover with Velvet Underground's "Rock And Roll." A "Queen Lucille" encore puts an exclamation point on the show. This is a fun, high energy show featuring a nice mix of Jed-riginals, multiple extended jams and a couple great rock covers. It's a great start to an amazing three night stand at Gonjaland! Enjoy!
