View NotesThe Jed Luckless Band returns to the stage for a three show run at Panorama in Secondlife! This is the first show of the run and if it's any indication, it's gonna be a great trio of shows! The band starts things off with the vibrant instrumental "Valley Of The Saints," somewhat of a rarity in the opening slot, but a great way to set the vibe for the evening. One of the band's oldest tunes comes next, the title track from Jed's 2010 album "All At Once," followed by Mark Gutenplan's "Englishtown" and the first big jam of the night, which finds its way into a cover of the Beatles "Dear Prudence." The heavenly "Listen To The Angels" is up next, followed by a newer tune called "The 86." The tune features an awesome jam section, but unfortunately Jed busts a string right as the tune kicks off. He makes the best of it though with his back up guitar, and keeps a lengthy jam going until a segue into the set closer "Still In Luv With U." Second set opens with the Kenny Kaufman led "Saw Mill River," which forgoes its ending and instead spawns a nice long jam that evolves into Jed's odd semi-instrumental "Umbrella Man." The fun continues straight into a great version of the JLB classic "Victim of The Rhythm," which also gives way to a nice long jam before settling down into "Smile Forever." It's not the best version of this amazing song, but the band quickly brushes it off and launches into the high energy "Where The Mountains Meet The Sea." The fan favorite "Ozone Blues" is in the penultimate spot, with a nice return to the Saw Mill River jam and reprise to end the set. A short "Geneva Sue," puts an exclamation point on the evening. This is a fun, high energy show with the JLB as they return to performing after a five month break. The newer tunes like "The 86" have a ton of potential. And the classics don't disappoint. The band is raring to jam and we're ready for more shows. Enjoy!
