Jed Luckless returns to Club Dynamite, the scene of Jed Zeppelin: In Through The Out Door in the summer of 2020, and he and Moondance deliver a rocking show with some killer jams. The show starts out on an upbeat note with "Sugar Pop," followed by the poignant story of farmland tragedy "Old Man Miller." The gentle "Some Notes On Lying" is next," followed by the debut of a new Jed original called "Homewrecker" whose AC/DC vibe feels right at home at Club Dynamite. A revisiting of Jed Zeppelin comes next with "Over The Hills And Far Away." The set really takes off with a venue approriate "Maserati" which Jed uncharacteristically opens up into a high speed jam reminiscient of the Police's "Synchronicity" but with a raunchier edge. When it comes to a stop, it's at the "Old Town Hall," which closes the set. Jed's Winter Tour featured no repeat songs up to this point, and the second frame opens with the long awaited appearance of his popular rocker "Victim Of The Rhythm," which was obviously primed to generate an epic jam. It clocks in at nearly twenty-four minutes and features a trancelike rhythm and searing guitar lines. It gives way to the acoustic guitar driven instrumental "Meredith." Another jam combo is up next, featuring the GuRGLe era song written by Gary Tyler "Stronger Instead" paired with the jazzy semi-instrumental "Umbrella Man." The jam in between is a fast paced affair with some cool piano undertones and synth leads, but gets a bit loud as Jed shreds the guitar leads toward the end of it. The set closes on the religious themed "Twelve," with its powerful prog rocky outro. The Phish encore this time out is "Heavy Things." This is an intense show at a true rock and roll venue and it features some of Jed's most popular tunes, several ripping jams and the debut of a new Jed original. Defintely worth a listen. Enjoy!
