View NotesJed Luckless kicks off his 2021 Winter Tour after a long hiatus due to the destruction of the Jedstead studios. He and his lighting director Moondance Parx are back at Panorama in Secondlife for a run of 16 shows over eight weeks. The show opens on a high note with an energetic "Water Glass" which features a rocking jam section. "The Last Show" is in the second position and reminds everyone how much they miss live music shows in the age of Covid. "Far Gone Blues" comes up next, followed by the first serious jam of the night which bridges "Doesn't" and the GuRGLe era song "Open Road." Jed throws some fun trivia at the crowd leaving them to guess the next song, which turns out to be the Go-Go's "Our Lips Are Sealed." Jed closes the set with the emotional and powerful "Feel." Second set opens with a timely one, the historical rebellion song "2000 Pikes," which spawns a massive jam that winds its way into "Side Door," a dark and brooding song about addiction. Things lighten up a bit next with "Moved To The Country" and "Hurtful Things," the reggae style comment on "people who suck." The Mark Gutenplan penned "Remember This Night" is up next, and Jed extends it into a lofty jam with echoing gutiar riffs. It build to a major climax before exploding into the bluegrass style "Slipping Through My Hands" to close the set. A Phish encore caps things off with "AC/DC Bag." This is a fun show at a familiar Secondlife venue, featuring some high energy jamming and a great setlist. It's great to have Jed and Moonie back! Enjoy!
