View NotesIt's one from Jammin Jed's 2017 Europe Tour, a run of five shows across Europe in Secondlife, including venues in France, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands. This one is the tour opener and its at the Helle's Angels venue in Denmark. Jed kicks off the entire Europe tour with a tribute to the late Sir Roger Moore and opens with Paul McCartney's "Live And Let Die" (the only time Jed has ever played the song). But it's quickly on to his originals, with "Go Away" and "Ozone Blues" coming next, joined by a solid jam. "Ride With The Devil" (or the "cowboy tune" as Jed calls it) is next, with it's companion "One And..." Jed then proceeds to introduce Denmark to Phish with a rocking version of "Sand." The set closes out with the bouncy "Still In Luv With U." Second set starts out as if often does with Jed's rocker "Victim Of The Rhythm," with a nice extended jam as expected and a segue into a familiar VOTR pairing, the poignant but powerful "Smile Forever." A newer tune comes next, the folksy "Moved To The Country," followed by a very old Jed tune dating back to the 90s, called "I Know There's Something." The historical epic "2000 Pikes" storms onto the scene mid-set and delivers a fiery jam before shifting into the introspective and intense "Feel" to close it out. The double encore features a Bob Dylan birthday tribute with "She Belongs To Me," and the only Grateful Dead of the night, the classic "Casey Jones." This is a great start to one of Jed's greatest (albeit shortest) tours, and a show full of tributes, originals and a few wicked jams. Enjoy!
