View NotesThe 2017 Jed Luckless Winter Rocks Tour featured ten shows across five venues in Secondlife, and was one Jammin Jed's hottest tours of the past few years. While this show may not be the best of the bunch, it was at a less common venue for for the Jed Heads and it delivers some extremely hot jams and a few interesting song choices. It's from March 12, 2017 at a venue called SAGE. The show opens strongly with Jed's "dungeons & dragons" song called "Alignments," which features some nice guitar work right off the bat. The quiet "Wane" is next, off Jed's 2010 "All At Once" album, followed by another cut from that album called "On The Shelf," which includes a tasty guitar solo. The cowboy fable "Ride With The Devil" is up next, preceded it's trusty sidekick "One And," and followed by one of the two standout jams of the night, a melodic improv with bubbly guitar lines and a bouncy rhythm. The jam winds its way into the instrumental "Meredith" which Jed tries to forget quickly by moving on to "Forgot To Forget You" to close the set. The second set opener provides the premium jam of the show, a crunchy funk jam with synth keys that arises from the west coast rocker "Latest Craze." It transitions into an instrumental that was un-named at the time, but later became know as DPG (as an homage to Jed's father). "Moved To The Country" is next with one more original, the sympathetic "I Love You" to close the set. A special encore is dedicated to Cailigh Spires who was in attendance at the show, the song she wrote and a crowd favorite of the Jed Heads, an especially rocked out version of "The Song With Words And Stuff." This another solid show from a rockin period in Jed history, and definitely worth a listen for the Devil and Craze jams, the early version of the instrumental "DPG" and the super fun 'TSWWAS.' Enjoy!
