View NotesHere's a fun show from Jammin Jed Luckless that celebrates the high holidaze of 420 at Weedapalooza in Secondlife! The show was on 4/20/17 and featured two sets of tunes, a mixture of original music and fun covers on theme for the holiday. The show opens energetically with Jed's "Brother Love," his own cannabis themed anthem. He follows it nicely with Led Zeppelin's "Going To California." The middle-eastern instrumental "Valley Of The Saints" is next, and it's a smoking version that produces a light and lofty jam with a nice segue into the David Bowie classic "Space Oddity," always a fun one to hear Jed or his band play. One more cover rounds out set one, the Cailidgh Spires song "The Song With Words And Stuff." The second set continues the cover trend, with the Trey Anastasio tune "Simple Twist Up Dave" accompanied by a nice jam that really soars on high. It transitions into a really fun "Makisupa Policeman" which Jed improvises lyrics on and then mashes up with Peter Tosh's "Legalize It." Jed goes back to his originals with the "true" story of "Shirtless Joe" but it's the only Jed tune in the second set as he returns to covers with Phish's "Waste," the Grateful Dead's "Touch of Grey" and the Rolling Stones' "Lovin' Cup," which features one last jam for the night. This is a really fun holidaze show, featuring some favorite Jed originals, a ton of great classic rock songs that are on theme with the celebration, and several sweet jams for the cannabis-infused. Enjoy!
