View NotesBHP Note: I worked on this show a couple months ago combining the release with the Mattman parts that were missing from the release. Since I used the release, I could not torrent the video but I did this for my best friend Nick Brush aka Sneakerface before he recently passed due to cancer. This was his one New Years Eve show where all he could remember was "they were spraying acid out of the ventilation ducts". One of the last times he came over was to watch this with me and he was smiling when he left. --------------------------------------------------------- - Mixed by [email protected] - FLAC conversion 05-Jun-2025 - Trader Little Helper - Tagged 05-Jun-2025 - Tag&Rename --------------------------------------------------------- Brokedown House Production

View NotesOldNeumanntapr Notes; This was the only year that the nationwide New Year's Eve Grateful Dead FM broadcast was simulcast in San Luis Obispo County. After recording the December 27th and 28th Dead shows at the Oakland Coliseum, we returned home to Morro Bay and prepared for the NYE show. I don't remember the model number of my old Sansui stereo receiver, but I used it along with my Sony TC-153SD cassette recorder to tape the broadcast. It was nice being able to record the Dead from the comfort of my apartment, with a refrigerator full of beer and a bathroom down the hall! Oh, and other party favors were handy as well. :) The next shows that we would record were two of the February 1988 Henry J. Kaiser run in Oakland.
