View NotesNotes: **This recording is more for historical purposes than anything else.** The second consecutive show in which I was blamed for frying the soundboard. I was patched directly out of the RCA outs on the board for all of set I. During setbreak, the soundman came up to me and said that the board was shorting out, and insisted that I disconnect. You can hear this happening as early as the first song in set I and continues throughout the rest of the set, as annoying static creeps in. Not being prepared to tape from the audience, and not having a decent spot to record from, I had to improvise. I asked the soundman if he had any mics not in use, and he provided me with a vocal mic of some sort, and a cable. I ended up recording from the spot that I was standing in, because the bar was jam packed, and there was no real decent spot to record from. At times the soundboard was feeding back really bad during the second set, and I edited out some of those painful sounds. Thus, the less than superior results from set II. It's the only recording of this show that exists, as I was the only taper. Two other points regarding this show, there was a massive fight that broke out after it was all over and a bar stool got thrown through the front window of the club. I was almost arrested, while we were outside packing up the car. It was Pete who actually stood up for me and told the cop that I was with the band, and not involved in the fight. I also remember being so exhausted driving home that I almost killed everyone in the car on the Long Island Expressway on the way home, and had to switch drivers. A lot of effort and dedication went into this recording, and it's a shame that the results are sub-par. Enjoy it for what it is.
