View NotesNotes: This recording was plagued with sound issues, cuts, static and missing chunks of songs. I have no idea who recorded this, or where I got the tape from. The songs in brackets were played, but unable to be salvaged. The Rustic Overtones were the opening band. Once We Get Started was a live soundcheck. Goody girl was a debut, but the second half of it had static issues, so I opted for a fadeout. The same static issues were present at the beginning of School Daze, thus the fade in. Half of Mary Pearl was missing, and the sound quality on Hey Jody thru Swedish Girls was so unbearable (due to age and tape rot) that I gave up trying to save them, and ended up cutting them out of the final master. You'll hear a glitch in So Cold, where there is a slight dropout. And Sights cuts off, so I added a fade out. (We'll eventually get to a recording where Sights does not get sliced in half!) Every dark cloud has a silver lining though! What remains is quite listenable. This was Shannon Lynch's first show as a full time member of Conehead Buddha. Clyde Wilburn is on trombone. Not to mention that this is the earliest known recording of the band playing at Valentines, the club that they would make their "home away from home" in the years to come.
