View NotesThe Jed Luckless Planet Sound Tour 2026 hits the beach at Dublin in Secondlife, returning to the Killiney Beach venue, site of many fun and historic Jed shows! Previous outings here on the beach include several "spelling" shows such as the 'Killiney Beach' show and the 'Sugar Pop' show. Other fun stints here have included themes like the 'Water' show or the 'Name' show. In keeping with tradition Jed and Moonie treat the crowd to another fun theme, the colors of the rainbow! Jed opens things up with the Rob Varkony, GuRGLe era tune "Wheelbarrow Blues," which is actually the only original song played the whole night, the rest being covers, which in itself makes this a unique show. A pair of Rolling Stones songs is next with "Paint It Black" and "Ruby Tuesday," joined by a brief jam - this is not an overly jammy show, since there is a hard curfew at the venue. Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl" is up next, followed by a Prince pairing featuring "Little Red Corvette" and "Purple Rain" to close out the first set. After a very brief setbreak, Jed opens the second frame with Bob Dylan's "Tangled Up In Blue" which provides one of the few jams of the night which finds its way into Led Zeppelin's "Tangerine" (perhaps the weakest example of a 'color' in the set!). John Mellencamp's classic "Pink Houses" has everyone singing, before Jed gets Moody with "Nights In White Satin." The Moody Blues classic sounds great and spawns a cool jam that we wish went on alot longer, but alas time is short and Jed pivots into the set closer "Touch Of Grey" by the Grateful Dead. The encore brings the whole thing together with Kermit the Frog's famously poignant "Rainbow Connection." Also included with this recording is the short sound check jam which has a real nice groove. While this may not be the most technically compelling show on the tour, and it's certainly one of the least jammiest with it's song oriented theme and shortened sets, it is still a fun show if you're looking for Jed playing classic rock covers! If you listen to one thing from this show, make it the "Satin" jam. Enjoy!
