View NotesJed Luckless returns to Cafe Musique in Second Life for the first time since 2024. This show was part of Jed's 2026 Planet Sound Tour, and once again Moondance Parx joins him on lights and the two deliver an awesome show full of fun songs and killer jams. You know it's gonna be fun when Jed opens the show with "Quarter To Four" a little ditty about partying all through the night! And het gets that party revved up with his song "Go Away" and immediately drops the first jam of the night. It segues into the uncommon fan fave "Secret Language," last played in 2024. Jed digs deep next, going back to a bouncy tune he wrote in 1984-85 called "I Think I Love Her." The first cover of the night is next, with the Who's "Behind Blue Eyes," and another cover closes the set, this one a cover of Second Life musician June Stormcrow and her song "Meadow." Second set opens with a pairing of Christine Lanfranco penned songs, "Perfect Package" and "Believe" joined by a nice long improv jam. These are uncommon tunes, with the former only played twice live, last in 2021, and the latter played live only on other time on 3/17/20 at Commune Utopia. That makes four Lanfranco songs played this tour! And by the way, the 'Pacakge' jam extends up to 30 mins so it's a tasty one. Next up is a song from the same era, but penned fully by Jed called "Slowly Fades" which also features a jam into the familiar sounding "Nose Ring," which prompts someone in the audience to yell "play Jane Says!." Maybe Jed will mash that up in the future, but for now we have to settle for an "Are You Experienced" tease. And you can never go wrong with some Zeppelin, so Jed closes out the set with "Hey Hey What Can I Do," tacking on The Rolling Stones classic "Waiting On A Friend" as the encore. Also included with this recording is the brief sound check jam. This is a fun show with a good vibe that features some very deep cuts from the Jed catalog along with several classic rock covers and a couple of really nice jams. NOt the standout show of the tour maybe, but one worth spinning none the less! Enjoy!
