View NotesThe Jed Luckless Planet Sound Tour 2026 rolls on and this time the gang descends, or rather ascends, to Club Hindenburg, site of Jed Zeppelin: Song Remains The Same in 2024, and only the second time at the venue. It's a cool club, in a replica of the Hindernburg floating above Good Sounds Music Park. Moondance Parx joins the fun with a limited but impressive light rig. Given the passing of Bob Weir earlier in the week, Jed opens the show perfectly with "Looks Like Rain." It's a poignant way to start the evening and sets nice emotional tone for what's to come. Jed follows it with another perfect choice given his history at this venue, with Led Zeppelin's "Over The Hills And Far Away," which really amp up the energy. Then it's onto originals, with bouncy "The Last Show" appearing and producing the first extended jam of the night which features some nice synthy keys and ripping guitar lines. It settles down into a solid "Far Gone Blues" which slides nicely right into the GuRGLe era "Cash Me In." A rare bust-out rocker from the early 90's appears next called "In The Eyes," a song that's only been played live once before (6/24/23 at The Shack in the U.K. on Jed's Europe Tour). The set closer is "Going Home" also a song we've only heard live a couple times, but only because it debuted in 2023 at Jammin Jed's AI Halloween. Second set kicks off with the covid-era "Send Me A Package" which Jed opens up into a nice long jam featuring some cool guitar layers and key changes. It segues into the Hellish Halloween themed "Red Light." In a show that already featured a major bust out, we're lucky to get another one in the second set, a song called "Lighten Up," which has an interesting history - originally called "Tighten Up" that made a single brief appearance live in 2021, but had not been played since 2015 before that. The song was intended for Jed's "Roll Over" album, but faced legal trademark issues and had to be cut. Because of the legal issues, the song was basically dropped from the CD and from rotation. But it seems to have returned and hopefully the slight name change will avoid a lawsuit and lets us keep hearing it! As if that wasn't enough, it spawns a nice jam which slides into "Umbrella Man," the instrumental version. Things get serious next with "Twelve," and its powerful lyrics and end jam, before a total crowd and venue pleasing set closer, Led Zeppelin's "Good Times Bad Times," during which Moonie proceeds to set the Hindenburg ablaze! It's a great finale, and it's followed by the perfect encore "Ripple" in tribute to Bob Weir. Also included with this recording is the sound check which featured a nice little jam along with a short version of "Catfish Friend." This is a fun, high energy show, with a great tribute to Bob Weir, a couple nods to Jed Zeppelin, two major bust outs, and a few awesome jams. Definitely a must listen, especially for Zep or Dead fans! Enjoy!
