View NotesIt's night two at Strawberry Fields in Second Life on Jammin Jed's Planet Sound Tour 2026! While the turnout was a bit smaller than the opener, the crowd brought a ton of energy, and Moonie's light rig was working much better after some tweaks - all this adds up to an off the hook show!

Jed kicks things off with a nice mellow vibe launching into his Covid-era reflection "The Birds Don't Know" but then immediately ratchets things up with a rockin' "Always Alone." It doesn't take long for the first jam of the night which comes in the form of "Each And Every Day" paired with "Valley Of The Saints." The serious "Friendly Burial" is up next, with sister songs "One And..." and "Ride With The Devil" closing out a short first set.

But don't worry, second set clocks in over 80 minutes and features two great jams. The set opener is "Red Zone" a cool instrumental from Jed's Spectra Halloween. But things get interesting next with one of Jed's oldest songs, called "Worthless Emotion," which has only been played 6 times. It spawns an epic high speed jam featuring blazing guitar leads and several key changes before sliding into the hard rockin "Homewrecker." Jed slows things down next with the 'emotional and technical' composition "Second Hand Smile" which he delivers nicely, followed by the title track from his 2010 album "All At Once." There's time and energy for one more killer jam which emerges from "Where Are We Now" a fairly popular entrant from the Spectra Halloween show. It builds nicely over twenty minutes featuring some wild layered pitch shifts and synthesized guitar lines. A nice ambient wind down makes for a smooth transition into the Velvet Underground's "Rock And Roll," notably the only cover song of the night, but always a great set closer. The encore features the title track from Jed's 2016 album "Roll Over." Also included here is a ten minute sound check jam.

This is a high energy show with an interesting setlist, some rare tunes, a great flow and several hot jams. If the tour continues like this, Second Life may just burn up! Enjoy!
