View NotesMay The Fourth Be With You! It's Jammin Jed's Star Wars Day celebration from 2016, when he performed two sets of live space related tunes inside a virtual Death Star at Darkstar in Secondlife. This is a super fun show especially if you're a geek like Jed! The show starts off strong with Jed emerging in full costume to play a cover of Phish's "Martian Monster" from their 2015 Las Vegas show (be sure to check out the video on You Tube to see Jed in his Darth Vader outfit! https://youtu.be/F5VyRroJCWU). Jed's sci-fi original "Ozone Blues" is next, and it's one of a few tunes that crop up from Jed's "Luna" suite of music, including "Oh My Star" and "Come Tomorrow." It also features the first of many "Star Wars" theme teases to come throughout the show. A lengthy Phish segment is the centerpiece of the first set, featuring "Stealing Time From The Faulty Plan" with a nice jam and segue into "Scent Of A Mule" during which Jed proceeds to tell the story of aliens landing at Skywalker Ranch. The set wraps up with a Cinqo De Mayo tribute with Moe.'s "Puebla" and a rocking version of Jed's "The Kid That Tried To Fly." 2016 saw alot of juicy second set "Victim" openers, and this one does not disappoint, clocking in at 25 minutes before shifting into a perfectly placed "Space Oddity" Bowie tribute. Some Grateful Dead finally shows up in the second set with a lengthy "Darkstar" bridged by Drums & Space to a beautiful rendition of the Garcia tune "Standing On The Moon." Jed's original ditty "Where The Mountains Meet The Sea" closes out the set, and a powerful encore of the Led Zeppelin classic "Stairway To Heaven" closes out the show. Another fun themed show from Jammin Jed Luckless, and a must listen for all the Star Wars jam fans out there! Enjoy!
