View NotesIt's Phish Bowl VII! Jammin Jed Luckless brings his annual celebration of Phish and Football back to Terrapin "Stadium" at the Darkstar sim in Secondlife for another year of rockin tunes and phriendly fun. Phish Bowl VII once again features two sets of Phish covers performed by Jed Luckless, a halftime show with special guests and the Phish Bowl trophy presentation for best Phish concert of 2015. The music, sound effects and production values all enhance the show making it an extra special event. The show starts off strong with the traditional singing of the national anthem followed by the festive "Party Time" complete with Jon Fishman style drum beat. "Theme From The Bottom" comes next with a nice extended jam featuring "Party Time" teases that gives way to a surprise "Brian And Robert." Jed reflects on seven years of Phish Bowls before obliging the annual Bob Marley cover, this time "Lively Up Yourself" (performed by TAB). A lengthy twenty minute centerpiece of the first set follows in the form of "Steam" paired with "Scent Of A Mule" and a special appearance by "Big Black Furry Creatures From Mars." The first half wraps up with a nicely jammed "Wolfman's Brother." Halftime features a special Grateful Dead tribute from "Star '69" and of course the awarding of the trophy for Phish Bowl champion and the best Phish concert of 2015, which went to August 9, 2015 at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, WI. The second half kicks off with an unexpected number, the epic "A Song I Heard The Ocean Sing," which launches into a killer jam from a prophetic "Blaze On" tease and ends on peak as it transitions into the basketball themed "The Line." Jed digs deep for the next tune in "Esther," followed by "Simple" which he jams out nicely and pairs with the poignant "Dog Face Boy." A short, bouncy "Ginseng Sullivan" precedes a long, intense "Limb By Limb" but the 'fourth quarter' winner is the sentimental "Silent In The Morning." Special guest 'Reverie Dax' joins Jed on vocals for the encore "Blaze On," which is a great wrap up to another amazing Phish Bowl. Enjoy!
