Taper Notes:
View NotesNotes: Digitally remastered using a custom built, Dual-DAW, nickenamed Bertha, by [email protected]. Completed on April 5, 2004. There is some distortion in the source used. Looks Like Rain seems to be the worst of it. Not sure if the distortion is from overdriving the original master reel recording, or if the transfer was overdriven. But, the distortion is in the original source and was caused prior to Bertha remastering. -3db noise reduction was used prior to processing. A 100% pure sample was used, resulting in Zero artifacts. Cleaned up some rough track to track transitions. Two drop-outs in Casey Jones. shntool used to fix SBE's on 4-12-04, applied separately to first and second set by Tony G ([email protected]) Enjoy my brothers!

Taper Notes:
View NotesNotes: - First audience recording of this show to circulate. - Shared to www.shnflac.net on the 50th anniversary of this historic evening. - No patch work was performed to cover tape flips. This is as Charles captured it. Notes from conversation between Charles and Jim: "11-17 was on the floor level seats on the right side. Notable that the Winterland February 1974 shows lacked the energy of the November 1973 shows. We were not surprised that they took a break after October 1974. Burn out, which we could feel, especially after the highly energetic 1973 shows. It was never quite the same, although 1977 had many high points"
