View NotesPatch Info: The following songs have patches from a 3rd Gen AUD: Me And My Uncle 0:00 - 0:01 Eyes Of The World 6:27 - 6:42 Notes: -- This source doesn't have some of the flaws that other sources have. -- You can combine Discs 2 and 4 onto one CD if you want. -- Thanks to Rob Eaton for letting me copy his dats. -- Thanks to Matt Smith for the patch source discs.
Taper: Appears to be a re-extraction of John Merdler seed.

Reel master > 1 cassette gen > DAT > CD > EAC > SHN
Taper Notes:
View NotesNotes: Some of the tuning, crowd noise, etc. between songs appears to have been edited out slightly. Alan J. Fink retracked disc 2; the resulting disc now sounds smoother at the track transistions then the original source discs. D1t01 (Me and My Uncle): cuts into beginning, split second lost D1t06 (Mexicali) Cuts @ 1:21 D2t01 (China Cat) Volume change @ 3:39 D3t03 (Eyes) Cut/splice @ 6:27

MSR > D > PCM > D > CD patched with AUD
Taper Notes:
View NotesSource: MSR > D > PCM > D > CD patched with AUD
Conversion: CD > EAC > WAV > retracking (shntool) > SHN
Complete show with AUD patches via Dave Greenberg and Jim Powell. Retrack of CDA seed circulated 3/2003 to incorporate separate crowd tracks into song tracks. Different lineage from previous seed. Cut to start Me & My Uncle patched w/ AUD, no cut in Mexicali. Does have anomolies in China Cat & Eyes noted in that seed.

Transfer: Cassette > Nakamichi CR-7A #1 (azimuth adjusted, Dolby B) > Tascam DA-3000 #2 (DSF 1-bit/5.6 MHz) > Tascam Hi Res Editor (DSF concatenate & 2496 PCM) - transfer by Matt Vernon Lineage: wav 24/96 > iZotope RX 11 Advanced > iZotope Neutron 5 >CD Wave > Flac24
Taper Notes:
View NotesComments: - It's known that there is another audience recording of this show taped by Karl Ryan which contains both "Jack Straw" and "Dark Star", I'm hopeful that I may be able to obtain a copy. Notes: - All tracks pitch corrected - The tape was paused between most tracks, these have been smoothed out. - This derives from the same master as Shnid 154414 which has been used to patch the last 1:51 of "El Paso", there are also several smaller patches for continuity purposes. Thank you Andrew F. - Shnid 32367 has been used to patch in the whole of "Jack Straw" and "Dark Star" except for the last 2:52 - Thanks to Charlie Miller. Both of these tracks have been remixed to mono, as has the last part of "El Paso", so that they are a better fit. - The first 38 seconds or so of "Let It Grow" have some tape damage, so it has been matrixed with the soundboard to repair it. - There is some tape damage in "Johnny B. Goode", this has also been matrixed. - There is a 56 second patch in GDTRFB and several others, for continuity, in set II. - The vocals were quite low in places and have been boosted. - Some background noise has been removed. Thanks to Doug Lamarre for providing his tapes. Thanks to Matt Vernon for the transfer and for facilitating. edited and mastered SIRMick February 2025

View NotesNote: Decent 1973 AUD, unfortunately, large segments of tape side-A were marred with bleed-thru in the right channel.
