View NotesNew Notes: I'm pretty happy with how the patches sound in general because of the great sources available, however the 1st Set needs desperately to be pitch corrected, so hopefully someone with that knowledge can take the reigns. The 2nd Set patches in my opinion however, came out Grate! cloverman (Lossless Legs member)

View NotesNotes: * Special Thanks to Gerry for Taping this and sharing his masters with me, these were transferd from Gerry's Reel's in the Mid 1980's. ** From Gerry "They had tower set out in the field with delays so that it all sounded okay. Pretty neat PA, I can't recall anyone doing that. Well anyway it made taping easy. I was able to stand in fornt of the first set of towers, about 200-300 ft from the stage and I stood about 20 feet in front of that pa setup, so I had pretty clear sound. I recorded everything on a tc-126 with the 2-point stereo micrphone."

View NotesNotes: This is the same recording as the principal source for the Audience Devotional Tree Round 26 - October, 2004. That was a really nice patched version that made use of the other circulating audience source to create the most complete audience version of this great show. After downloading that version, I discovered my old cassette of the soundcheck. To my ears, my cassette sounded like perhaps it was a one-less generation than the principal source of Audience Devotional Tree Round 26. Also, happily, Sugaree is present in its entirety. In addition, a little post-show chatter from Garcia, Graham and Cutler adds a little of the ambience of this historic show to listening experience. I was thrilled with the patch job done on Audience Devotional Tree Round 26, but my expertise doesn't extend into that realm. This version has all the cuts and anomalies mentioned in the notes for Audience Devotional Tree Round 26, most of which were repaired with patches from the other source. If someone out there thinks this is a worthy source for a remaster, it would be really cool to patch this with the other source to have an even more complete version of this amazing show.
