View Notes--2025 Work-- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --Converted the original .shn (Hamilton) files to 14H kbps / 44 kHz .wav files using TLH. Retracked and made each track transition smoother (there were a ton of drop outs and cuts in the first set and some spurious issues in the second). Patched in the GD #320 tracks - '17 He's Gone' through '20 I Know You Rider' and adjusted levels and volume to match with the orignial Cassette source. All sound editing / patching was done with crossfades and direct patches using Roxio Sound Editor (2009). Converted back to flac1644 using TLH. This has long been a favorite show of mine and I loved the opportunity to get this gem to shine just a little bit brighter. :) Thank you to G.S. Hamilton to get the original seed out there. View NotesJay's Notes: Digitally Remastered using a custom built, Dual-DAW, nicknamed Bertha, by [email protected]. Completed on November 9, 2005. I don't know where I got this show, and unfortunately, there was no text file with it. It does appear to be from the same source as the one on archive.org. The source on archive is listed as a cassette master. Spectral analysis cleary reveals two analog generations, making this, most likely, a cassette master>>cassette rather than a cassette master source. There were many rough trasitions between songs, most apparently from the stopping and starting of a tape machine. Most of these transitions were edited to make them less harsh.

View Notes(The lineage given in the original etree copy's original info file is incorrect.) Note: The show as I got it from the etree was spuriously tracked, with track boundaries often 30 seconds to a minute before the actual beginning of a song, and the bit of "Beer Barrel Polka" tuning split between the end of disc 2 and beginning of disc 3. I retracked the entire thing de novo, using Cool Edit and CDWav. The track timings below are for my retracked version; timings for the original etree copy are given at the end of this file. In retracking disc 3, I followed the tracking for the version of this portion previously released on GDH #320. -- G.S. Hamilton
