Taper Notes:
View Notes- shnid 1822 and 83397 are both incomplete in some way, and long were comments for a complete source. 83397 notes that the Betty 10 inch Middle reel of the show unplayable due to mold and water damage. This PCM transfer also lacked the middle portion, the rest was an upgrade. 1822 had most of the middle reel, but was not equal in sound. 1822 missing middle reel was corrected and mastered and made to fit into the sound of this Beta. This now offers the most complete source available to date. China Rider through part of The Other One is provided by shnid 1822, the rest of the show is a new source.

10" Betty Board Reel > PCM501ES analog out > Fostex D5 optical S/PDIF out (Jace's Tape) > disk
Taper Notes:
View NotesNOTES: * Sound Forge 6.0 volume raised to +2.4dB. * Sound Forge 6.0 peak normalization @ 99%. * Middle reel of show unplayable due to mold and water damage. notes from trailmix 3-15-07: Project WBOTB these shns were decoded to wav, SBE's fixed (by set), then encoded to flac16 (level 6). The process was repeated and resulted in identical wavs. Although the original shns were created in 2002, they are not in circulation and do not exist in the database (which is why these shns were converted and fixed).

Taper Notes:
View NotesNotes: - Pitch corrected - A significant number of pops/clicks have been removed - Patches patch source shnid 136267 part of the tuning after "Deal" part of the tuning after "You Ain't Woman Enough" 30 second patch in "The Other One" patch source shnid 83397 all of "Sugar Magnolia" all of "One More Saturday Night" - Eq'd to tone down Phil, he was far too high compared to everyone else. Comments: - This is described as an audience source on the tape but is does have some characteristics of a soundboard. e.g. When Phil is explaining about the fire aisle you cannot hear anything from the crowd. In fact there is very little crowd noise during much of this recording. I assume that this is the source referred to as an aud at Deadlists as both "Sugar Magnolia" and "One More Saturday Night" are missing. Thanks to everyone involved in getting the sources used for patching out there. Thanks to Doug Lamarre for providing this source. Thanks to the taper whoever they may be. Thanks to Matt Vernon for transferring this source and facilitating. edited and mastered SIRMick March 2024
