Taper Notes:
View NotesTape: Audiotape, Formula 10, 1/2 mil "T" Mylar, 3 3/4 ips, 2-track mono. Real-time transfer, no edits; EQ flat; no boosts/filters applied. source discs and equipment information provided by Iver McLeod. the cuts at the beginnings of tracks omit only a few notes; the taper was pleasantly quick on the "Start" button. the cut in "Lovelight" appears minimal. the cut in "The Eleven" is substantial, with a segment from the third line of the "William Tell Bridge" (tracked with "The Eleven") to the transition to the second (11/8, key of "A") theme missing; as much as three to four minutes could be missing here. The end of "The Eleven" fades out; this fade was present on the source discs. the entire segments from d1t5-d1t7 and d2t1-the cut at 0:34 of "The Eleven" are contiguous, with no start/stops of the recorder. the edits to the "fixed" version are confined to removal of tape start/stop pops between tracks and/or at tape edits; no music or audience noise was removed.
