Sources: Crown SASS P Mk 2 stereo condenser PZM center stage lip; bass guitar feed from FOH; keyboard feed from FOH, stage mic & bass & keyboard feeds via Shure FP 42 mixer to 2 tracks into channels 1 & 2; 2 channel SBD mix from FOH into channels 3 & 4. Path: 744T>ext. hard drive>Samplitude ProX>TLH>flac. Recorded by: Bob Cogswell Mixed, mastered & uploaded by: Bob Cogswell. FOH engineer: Max Lopez DISCLOSURE: Owing to traffic, I was a little late arriving at the venue. As a result, I was not able to fully set up the recording gear and dial in my levels during sound check. As the band took the stage for the 1st set, I put on the headphones and was trying to get the levels and the mix right while the band prepared to play. I was basically trying to get the mix between the stage mic and the bass & keyboard feeds even and it took about 2 songs. As I took off the headphones I looked down at the deck and realized that I had omitted to press the record button. DOH!! Thus, forever lost are the 1st 2 songs (one of them was Peggy O) and more than half of the third. The Band: Stu Allen: Guitar, vocals. Mitch Stein: keyboards, vocals. Steven Ramirez: bass, vocals Jerry Saracini: drums. Further info: This upload was stalled for a time because one file would not pass its MD5 check after the initial upload. With a moderators help, the partial track (Good Times) was found to be corrupted.
