View NotesNotes on Stu Allen & Mars Hotel from The Ashkenaz Community Center, Berkeley CA, Feb. 12, 2014. Recording gear used: Sound Devices 744T 4-channel hard disc recorder @ 24/96 resolution. Sources: Crown SASS P MK 2 stereo condenser PZM at the center stage lip; SBD 2-channel feed. (Note: during the 1st track, until about 3:30 min. into it, there is severe oversaturation noise from the bass track. When I noted it, I muted the bass track and the keyboard track that were both line level inputs from the monitor mixer via Jon Hart's 788T. I did not go back to those tracks for the rest of the night. I later concluded the fault was mine). This is a 4-channel recording using the SASS 2-channel pair and the SBD 2-channel pair.
