Jammin Jed's Halloween Space Jam
Darkstar (SL)

It's Jammin Jed's Halloween Space Jam 2010! This was the second annual Jedtainment halloween party at Darkstar, and once again it had a theme, this time Space! (last year was Pirate's - the audio is also available on the Archive).

While this show may lack some of the dark Halloween spirit that infused the first year's show, it provides two major elements that were not present in year one: the addition of a drummer in Eric Stramiello, and the adoption of a musical costume by Jed!

The show starts out with solo Jed, but by the third song, Stram has joined in the fun, and the duo rock out a high energy Psycho Killer. The set provides some classic tunes, like Space Cowboy and Space Oddity, and a nice Soam→ Caspian for the Phish heads in the crowd. Deadheads are not forgotten, as the pair closed out the set with a rockin Eyes and a nice Cosmic Charlie (staples for the duo at the time).

Set II brings Jed's musical costume, Dark Side Of The Moon. A valiant attempt and a nice nod to the Phish tradition! The sound effects Jed recorded make the costume all the more fun and a great homage to one of the greatest albums of all time.

The show wraps up with obligatory Pumpkin Song encore. Also included here as a bonus is the Jed/Stram soundcheck recorded prior to the show. Enjoy!
