Matrix by Hunter Seamons using Final Cut Pro
Lineage:
FLAC > AIFF > Final Cut w/EQ > Soundtrack Pro > AIFF CD tracking via Audacity > FLAC16 via xACT w/meta-tagging
Taper Notes:
View NotesNotes: Jim Wise's recording (#139668) starts the matrix and patches the very beginning of Let The Good Times Roll in Lamarre's tape. Clicks were removed in Feel Like A Stranger, Ramble On Rose, Black Throated Wind, Lazy River Road, Drums and Space. Much less clicks and pops compared to the 3/27 and 3/28 soundboard sources. "Phasey" vocal sound effects on Here Comes Sunshine in the soundboard recording, also on the vocal harmonies in Liberty. Doug Lamarre's recording brings much needed bottom end and ambience again, plus the audience energy. Great stuff. While I was not compelled to EQ any of the 3/27 matrix, the 3/28 and 3/29 matrixes needed more attention and I did some light EQ throughout. The 3/27 set two matrix was all digital, 3/28 was all digital, and 3/29 was analogue from the SBD cassette master.
