View Notes* First Time Played Though this is similar to shnid# 4681, this new source is not missing anything. The only flaw is a split-second saturation of the signal @ 00:05 d2t06 (the drummers decided to pound hard-enough to redefine the nights level setting). On the side and for the record: This is speculation on my part, but it's possible that existing shnid# 4681 could be a relative of this new seed. It's lineage says its 460/CK8s -> BP-1s -> Marantz PMD-700. Well, we ran AKG 460/CK8's, I had a problematic Marantz PMD-700 on tour with me that was demoted from master deck due to reliability issues, but COULD HAVE still been run as a back-up deck (thus producing 4681). We also had BP-1 power supplies, but my on-tour notebook and the tapes themselves don't start having the BP-1s reflected in the lineage until a couple months later at the Vegas shows of this year. So. if they are related, it could be a mislabel on #4681, or me being lazy about writing down the BP-1s. I don't see why I would've skimped on writing "BP-1s" down, as I wrote down everything else for each night, and the "BP-1s" start appearing the first day of the Vegas shows in the same notebook I used for the tour. I have not heard #4681 so I can't be sure. If anyone involved in the tapes (Roger, Joe, Carl) can help solve this mystery, please feel free. In any case, like I said, this source is not missing any part of space, as #4681 says it is.
