SBD/AUD matrixes by R.E. Eichorn
Taper Notes:
View NotesI have long felt that the final years of the Grateful Dead are best represented not by complete shows but by compilations of stand-out tracks. I hope this collection, a labor of love, proves me right. This is a third, "bonus" volume to supplement Volumes 1 and 2, which were released in September 2025. Like Volumes 1 and 2, it consists of roughly four hours of music arranged into the usual two-sets-and-an-encore format. All tracks are SBD/AUD matrixes, mixed and mastered by me from freely available sources. I have endeavored as far as possible to let the quality of the performances determine the song selection, but in making my decisions, I have also taken into consideration the quality of the available sources. In every case, I have done my best with what's freely available. I want to thank everyone involved in recording, transferring, and distributing the sources used in this collection. Charlie Miller deserves special thanks, obviously and forever. I would also like to express my gratitude to the folks at BCE, LosslessLegs, Worldwide Deadheads, and archive.org, without whose efforts this project would be far poorer than it is. R.E.
