View NotesNotes: When I lived in Oregon in 1983 I was able to copy this source from a local taper. I only wrote "D5" and "NR Off" on the J-card, and forgot to write down what mics he used, although I believe it was likely Sennheisers. The levels on the master were run somewhat hot, which is noticeable in a few spots. The right mic dropped out for the first 1:43 of Me & My Uncle, so I patched over it with the wav's from the left channel. The tape flip in the second set is patched from the LAMA source, making the second set seamless. Soundforge was used to create fades, adjust levels, repair around the tape flips, to correct the pitch for the patched-in bits, and to do the patching. Patches from LAMA's Aud source: 0:00 to 0:11 of Alabama Getaway 1:41 to 1:43 of Me & My Uncle 0:00 to 0:16 of Cold Rain & Snow 1:25 to 1:32 of Truckin Intro Jam
